Can you even believe that transformation?! It is from our latest flip home and we think it turned out spectacular!
I can’t wait to hear what your favorite part of the bathroom is!
This bathroom was such an enjoyable project for me! I really thought about what my dream bathroom would be and modeled it around that image.
The rustic touches make my heart thump a little extra…
But it does NOT lack a feminine touch by any means!
The shiplap in this bathroom really creates a clean slate to work with. The light and bright white helps the room to feel bigger and more open.
(Plus who doesn’t love shiplap and JoAnna Gaines?!)
And… Let’s just talk about that vintage mirror for a minute.. (insert all the heart eyes, here)
There was an old antique store going out of business and so I had stopped by to see what they had (of course). I walked and walked around, bummed that I couldn’t find anything to tickle my fancy. As I was leaving, there it was… Broken into pieces, the mirror part laying separately in grass up to my knees. I quickly dropped down and started attempting to put it back together. ALL THE PIECES WERE THERE! So I told the guy I would give him $5 for this broken mess. Some wood glue, finish nails, and a good cleaning and this beauty is the centerpiece of this bathroom!
Ah.. the classic subway tile. Could you go wrong?! I am in love with the white subway tile and how it is SO TIMELESS! In this bathroom, we went with a darker grout color so that it would be easier to clean. I am obsessed with how it turned out! Oh, and that deep new tub. I could see myself spending lots of time in there!
The icing on the cake goes to the beautiful and functional sliding barn door!
Not only is it totally hot right now, but it saves so much space by not having to swing into the bathroom or out into the hallway!
+ We had to rearrange this bathroom to make it more functional and to add heating and cooling!
(it has no air or heat before… can you say cold when you get out of the shower?!)
+We chose that vanity because it resembled a dresser and tied in the lovely mirror.
+The “I don’t give a shiplap sign” continues to crack me up every time I see it!
If you loved this bathroom- you will LOVE the entire home.
